Methodist Physician Alliance (MPA) is excited to bring you a new contract opportunity for new business and higher reimbursement.  Averde Health, Inc. (Averde) is building a commercial PPO network that includes hospitals, physicians, and ancillaries and has customer commitments in more than 20 markets in the next year.  We invite you to join the Averde Health Network as they expand into Texas, starting in San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Austin.

Averde stands out from your other payors because they solve one of the biggest problems facing physicians today – rising bad debt and collections costs.  Texas has some of the highest health plan deductibles in the country, and the current economic situation is causing employers and individuals to adopt these plans at an increasing rate.  This means more pressure on your practice as you try to collect higher balances from more patients.

How is Averde Health different?

•  Averde guarantees payment of 100% of your contracted reimbursement amount (excluding copayments, which you continue to collect), including any deductible or coinsurance owed by patients in their network.  Averde collects any deductible or co-insurance amounts directly from the plan member so you don’t have to.
• Averde guarantees payment in 30-days or less after submission of a clean claim during the prime period.
